Petra De Sutter is a Belgian extraordinary professor in gynecology at Ghent University and was head of the Department of Reproductive Medicine at the Ghent University Hospital. From 2019 to 2020, she was a member of the European Parliament for the Groen party and has been serving as vice prime minister and minister for Public Enterprises and Civil Service in the De Croo government since October 1, 2020.
